Good morning, my stitching friends! And how are you doing in this very last week of October? Is everyone ready for Halloween? I so miss those days when my sons would fill the house with the excitement of creating their costumes (with just a bit of help from mom!), mapping out their trick-or-treat route, carving pumpkins, and at the very end of Halloween night, laying out their candy by type on the floor of our family room in a massive trade-fest (and generously giving all of their coconut candy bars like Mounds or Almond Joys to me because I'm the only one who likes coconut in the family!). What fun memories... I want to thank all of you so much for those wonderful comments you left on my last post. Good morning, my friends... and I don't use the word "friends" lightly. It has been a week since we lost our dear  Cathey and with each passing day I realize even more what a special and inspiring friend she was over the past four years as well as just how important each of you is in my life.
